It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of TARA LYNN BULL SHIELDS-GOOD RIDER, beloved wife of Nathan Big Throat, of the Blood Reserve. She passed away suddenly near Cardston, AB, on July 28, 2014, at the age of 34 years. Tara leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Trinity, mother Arlene, father Ronald, brother Laine (Brittany), niece Shiloh, sister-in-law Courtney Big Throat, nephew Charles, her mother-in-law Wanda Big Throat, father-in-law Charles Eagle Speaker, her aunts: Verda, Glenda, Debbie, Noreen, Betty Ann, Diane, Doris, Nora, Linda and uncle Henry, her grandparents Barbara & Gilbert Crow Chief, Elizabeth Big Throat, and uncle Tom Good Rider. A Family Service will be held at the Legacy Funeral Home on Friday, August 1st, 2014 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. A Wake Service will be held at Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, August 1st, 2014 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
