MIYASHITA Thomas

THOMAS SATOMI MIYASHITA of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Nancy, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre on Monday, August 4, 2014 at the age of 87 years. He is the loving father of Bruce, and Grace (Brian) Nicholson, all of Toronto. He is also survived by his siblings: Mitsuo, Herb, and Joyce; and numerous nieces and nephews. Tom lived a long and good life. He enjoyed jazz, sports, and especially golf, which provided some of his best moments. A special thank-you to the staff of the Home Care Team and Palliative Care Team and St. Michael’s Palliative Care for their care and support. Koden and flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael’s Palliative Care, 1400-9 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 4V5, or to a charity of one’s choice. Cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.
