KANA Norman

NORMAN KANA, beloved husband of Isabella Kana of Coaldale, passed away at the Edith Cavell Care Centre on Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Besides his loving wife Isabella, Norman is survived by his children Rita (Keith) Longacre of Millet, AB, Greg (Brenda) Kana of Calgary, AB, and Rhonda Payne of Lethbridge, AB. He is also survived by two sisters; Edna Webber and Irene (John) Vesley, both of Lethbridge, AB. Norman is survived by eight grandchildren, seven great- grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, close family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Wallace officiating.
Isabell and Families. Our sincere condolences to you and your families on the loss of Norm .Brendan will always look back at Norm as being an excellent Boss and friend during their years together at CMG as well as after work. Norman never got excited when things went wrong and handled all problems with common sense and fairness. He was a man of his word and we will always remember the old stories we got to enjoy and remember his musical talents at 3am when we accidently took Tonys advice to get him and Isabell up for an early morning coffee. Also he was remembered by many guys he touched base with from MPC in Montana and they will always remember him as a good man .Thanks Norm for being there when we needed you always… The Hartys.
