SYLVIA JANE EDWARDS, beloved wife of Clarence Edwards, passed away peacefully in Taber on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Jane was the only daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Buchan, and was born on May 11, 1941 in Lethbridge. Jane is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, and their four children: Terry (Melynda) of San Antonio, Texas, Peggy (Bob) Hurd of Lethbridge, Julie (Randy) Fajnor of Taber, Greg (Tina) of Stirling, fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Jane was also predeceased by her half-brother Thomas (Joan) Buchan of Vancouver. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family prior to the service at the LDS Barnwell Chapel, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, BARNWELL CHAPEL, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Scott Nelson officiating. Interment to follow at the Barnwell Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the care given by all the staff at The Good Samaritan Society Lindenview home in Taber.
