1957 – 2014
It is with great sorrow that we announce MRS. CAROL SEAMAN, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2014 in her home in Lethbridge, AB due to pneumonia. She is survived by her parents Rex and Audrey, daughter Kyla (Greg), son Matt; her grandchildren: Brooklyn, Nolan, River, Ryder, Lachlan and Lincoln as well as former husband Kyle and best friend Sharyn; and her favourite bird Brodie. Carol was born on April 9, 1957 in Halifax, NS. Carol travelled Canada and overseas with her two children in tow. The exciting result of a military marriage. Carol and family eventually settled in Lethbridge which is where she has called home for the last 20 years. Carol loved to laugh and make others feel welcome. Carol was very proud of her children and grandchildren whom she would often spend time with. Carol embraced life and all the people in it. She loved and was loved. She devoted her time to the Kidney Foundation and was an avid supporter of organ donation. How do you sum up a person’s life in a paragraph? We don’t; what we do is remember the moments that made up her life. The moments that made and will continue to make our lives more joyful and full. Loving laughter, smiles, warmth, giving. Words to describe a woman who was and now truly is an angel. She will be missed but more importantly she will be remembered in our hearts and minds. Friends may meet the family on Thursday, October 16 from 7:00 to 8:00 at Christensen Salmon Generations Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. Donations in Carol’s name can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, #408, 740-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0N9.
