3 Condolences for “WIEBE Jan”

  1. Tami (Yoder) Bontrager says:

I am so sorry for your loss. Jan was my best friend all through junior high and high school in Nappanee, Indiana. We didn’t keep in touch as well we should have…we corresponded some and I visited her in college once. She was my Maid-of-Honor in both my weddings. The last time I saw her was at her father’s funeral in 2000. A few months ago I attempted to contact Jan on Facebook through my friend Sarah Kirchner, and my cousin Natalie (Tobias) Hochstetler, the latter with whom Jan and I ran around with in school, to no avail. I am sorry I didn’t try a lot sooner and try a lot harder to find her. I miss her immensely, she was the best friend I will ever come across. Again, I am so sorry for your loss, she was an amazing person. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

  2. Marilyn Rudy-Froese says:

I have such fond memories of Jan from our Goshen College days. She was a dear friend and we spent a lot of time together. We kept in touch for a number of years after that and into our adult years, but largely lost touch in the last 15 years or so. My best memories of Jan are laughing until the tears rolled down our cheeks, and/or collapsing on the floor in uncontrolled laughter. My deepest sympathy to you, her family.

  3. Monica Hostetler Harnish says:

I have wonderful memories of Jan during college. I enjoyed sharing an apartment during our senior year, and keeping in touch through a circle letter for several years afterwards. I appreciated Jan’s thoughtful insights about life. My condolences to her family – I know she will be missed.
