It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, brother and friend Allan Foster Payne in Raymond on Monday, February 2 at the age of 75, beloved husband of Phoebe Payne. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Raymond LDS Stake Centre (2 North 200 West) from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6 and 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, February 7. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTRE. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity that was dear to Al’s heart: The High Andes Society, c/o Sherri Wendorff, Box 1023, Raymond, AB T0K 2S0. Al was treasurer for this group that supports 2 orphanages in Peru.
We are saddened to learn of Yvonne’s passing just today (Feb24th). We remember the wonderful friendship you shared with Jim & Iris Martin, my parents, so many years ago. We pray that you will feel the peace and comfort as you remember with fondness the years you have spent together. So sorry to have missed the funeral today!
