MARGARET ROSE SURMIK, beloved wife of John Surmik of Lethbridge, passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer, on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the age of 77 years. She is the loving mother of: Debra Taylor, Michael (Gayle), and Joanne (David) Foder. She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Ryan (Tiffany), Brady, Dyson, Tristan, Cameron, Mikayla, and Sophia; and two great grandchildren Conner and Jordyn. She is also survived by brother John Tuff, sister Ella, and two nieces Wendy and Kathy. Margaret is predeceased by her father Carl Neilson. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 10TH AVENUE CHAPEL, 1912-10 Avenue South, Lethbridge. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2M7.
