It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of LEANNE EMILY FOX "OTSKOIPIIKSIIYAAKII" (Blue Bird Woman) on March 8, 2015 at the age of 33 years. Leanne is survived by her parents Mary (Rex) Bird and Bill (Mary Jo) Rabbit; adopted Mom Kyla (Ray) Crow; children Kristain (Cassidy) Fox, Nevada and Martina Heavy Runner; brothers Tom (Chrissy) Fox, Dustin (Deanna) Fox, Sonny and Thomas Rabbit, sister Lucynda Rabbit; her paternal uncle Duke (Irma) Rabbit; Aunty Marlene (Marvin) Yellow Horn; her maternal uncles Richard (Doris) Fox, Terry (Jennifer) Ivins; Aunty Marsha (Doug) Notenbomer; paternal grandfather Larry Rabbit; her grandson Trigger Fox; Nephews and Nieces Wyatt, Aaliyah, Tyana, Milo, Halo, Dusty, Jemma Fox and Kaleb Scalplock; special Aunties Ann (Jack) Fox and Janis (Wally) Shingoose. Leanne was such an amazing girl who had a crazy sense of humor, was a great storyteller; she was not a shy person at all – always joking and always laughing with family and friends. She loved spending time with her children, especially her grandson Trigger. Leanne was very close to her cousins that she took as her brothers and sisters. "I AM GOING TO A CITY WHERE THE ROSES NEVER FADE…" A Wake Service will be held at the Moses Lake Gym, Blood Reserve on Thursday, Mar. 12th from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Friday, Mar.13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in One Spot Cemetery, Blood Reserve.
