KAPCSOS Steve

STEVE KAPCSOS of Cardston, Alberta, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Colene (Allred) Kapcsos of 2 1/2 years; his children and their families: Cheryle, Steven, Michael, Erin, Dixon, Carleton, Tara, Kimball (deceased), Kristal and Heather; as well as 48 grandchildren and 81 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Margaret Tyerman, Delila (Bill) Fraser; a brother Ron (Valorie) Kapcsos; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth (Kovacs) Kapcsos, and Janos and Rosalie (Kertezs) Makranyi; parents, Steve and Margit (Makranyi) Kapcsos; his first wife Verla (Blackmore) Kapcsos of 58 years; a son Kimball; a grandson Riley; an older brother also named Steve who passed away at 13 months of age in Hungary; a sister, Rose (Kay) Kenly; brother-in-law Ernie Tyerman. Steve loved to study the gospel of Jesus Christ. His love of learning, reading and teaching led him to pursue and earn his Doctorate in Education. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, TEMPLE STREET CHAPEL, Cardston on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may meet the family at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service.
