KENNETH LEE PHILLIPS, beloved husband of Yvonne Phillips passed away very peacefully at home on Saturday, March 21, 2015. Besides his loving wife Yvonne, Ken is survived by six daughters: Shirley, Laura, Catherine, Linda, all of BC, Melanie of Costa Rica, and Heather Woods of Lethbridge; two sisters Ruby Hill and Ruth Waterhouse, both of Lethbridge. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Phillips, and brother Larry. Ken was born in the Galt Hospital in Lethbridge on September 5, 1930. He received his schooling in Picture Butte and Jackson, Michigan. In his lifetime, Ken was a heavy equipment machine operator, trucker, and later went on to retire from a successful career in sales. Ken was known for his warm gentle nature and great sense of humour and will be missed so much by those who loved him. Friends may meet the family on Friday, March 27 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, LETHBRIDGE STAKE CENTRE, 2410-28 Street South, Lethbridge. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
