MISTAKEN CHIEF

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of DEBRA JEAN MISTAKEN CHIEF (nee Black Plume) in the Cardston Health Centre, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the age of 55 years.

Debra Jean was born on October 24, 1959 at the Blood Indian Hospital. She is survived by her children Buddy, Lacey (Clay), Darren and Duane Jr.; brother Adolph Black Plume; sisters Laurette (Ken) Vare, Lora (Jim) Adamson, Kathy Black Plume.

Debra was currently employed with the Lee Crest Good Samaritans as a Health Care Aide.

Debra was predeceased by her parents Samuel Jr. and Lucy Mary Black Plume; brothers Melvin Lee Red Crow and Bud Black Plume.

A Family Service will be held at the Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Friday, May 15th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Wake Service will be held at the Moses Lake Community Hall, Blood Reserve on Friday, May 15th from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, South Hill Chapel, Cardston on Saturday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m. Family may meet the family from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the Service.
