2 Condolences for “YOOS Karen”

  1. Kellie Farries says:

I did not know Karen (other than a brief meeting), but she was a friend of my grandmothers (Helen Gunn). Her untimely and tragic passing has weighed heavily on my mind and heart since I heard about it. It sounds as though she was a kind, loving, caring person with an unconditional love for her daughter and family. I cannot imagine how hard this must be for everyone who loved her. I just wanted to express my sympathy and tell you that her life has touched mine deeply. It just goes to show you that her life could leave such a wonderful impression on someone she didnt even know, and with that being said, Rest in peace Karen. The world was lucky to have had you in it.

  2. Erika and Bob Foley says:

I just found out about Karen’s death from a friend this morning and was so shocked and sad to hear of her passing. Bob and I knew Karen ( and Randy) when they first moved to Wainwright in the 1970’s. Bob was best man at their wedding . I visited her a few times in Lethbridge and Fort Macleod, and she often stayed at our place when visiting in Wainwright. She was so dedicated to Dee and I saw this first hand a few times as she took me to the place where Dee lived. We emailed and kept in touch through Christmas cards and phone calls. She will certainly be a special angel in Heaven. She will be missed by her family and friends.
