Dorothy Pauline Nowlin passed away on August 3, 2015 at the age of 92 in the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Harold in 1979. She is survived by her sister Elaine Whitehead also of Claresholm and numerous nieces and nephews.
Many years of Dorothy’s life were spent farming in the area with her husband and then she moved to Claresholm where she worked as an aid at the Care Centre until retirement. The last 11 years of her life were spent living at the Porcupine Hills Lodge.
Dorothy enjoyed life to the fullest by entertaining people with her musical talent, traveling, taking friends and family on trips through the countryside and spending time with others.
Interment will take place at Archmount Cemetery in Lethbridge on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 am. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (4924-3 Street East, Claresholm).
