On the evening of Wednesday, August 26, 2015, Florence Monnette passed away peacefully at the Fort Macleod Health Centre at the age of 67 years. Florence was born on June 10, 1948 in Eaglesham, Alberta and was blessed by the love of her family. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her mother, children, numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2517 3 Avenue, Fort Macleod, Alberta on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. For those who wish to pay their respects to Florence, viewing will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Church between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery. In honour of Florence Monnette, memorial contributions may be made directly to Special Development Unit in care of Fort Macleod Health Centre, Box 520, Fort Macleod, Alberta T0L 0Z0.
