DANIEL (DAN) KNIFE, husband of the late Rondina Savis, passed away suddenly in Vancouver, BC on August 21, 2015 at the age of 55 years. He was born on May 26, 1960 to the late Jim & Maude Knife.
He is survived by 3 step- children, Marlisa Brown, Marcus Brown, & Robert White from Vancouver; his brothers Pete (May), Joseph (Margaret), Edward (Tammy), John (Jackie), Richard (Yvette); one sister Annie; auntie Irene McHugh – all from the Blood Reserve. Extended families: Knife, Chief Calf, Wolf Child, Shot Both Sides, Spear Chief, Eagle Tail Feathers, Eagle Bear, Sweet Grass, Twigg, Plume, Big Swallow, Young Pine, Prairie Chicken, Day Rider, Crane Chief, Hind Bull. The family apologizes to family and friends whose names were missed.
A Family Service will be at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Sunday, August 30th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Wake Service will follow at the Old Saipoyi Gym, Stand Off from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Monday, August 31st at 11:00 a.m . Interment in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
