HELEN PISKO – 1921 – 2015, passed away at Extendicare, Fort Macleod, after a brief illness.
She was the last of 12 children born to Stefan and Anna Pisko all of whom have predeceased her: three sisters, Mary Kropinak, Anna Wilson, and Olga Pennington and eight brothers, John, Stephen, Michael, Joe, Andrew, George, Adam, and Alexander.
She is survived by nieces Pat Moskaluk, Brenda Pennington, Joan Shaw, and Roxanna Cruthfield, nephews Lyle Pennington, Tom Pisko and Richard Pisko, and sisters-in-law Isobel (Michael) Pisko and Rose (Steve) Pisko.
Helen attended St. Basil’s School and was a member of St. Peter and St. Paul’s Greek Catholic Church. She was employed for many years by the Rath family. One of her pastimes was going to bingo with her cousin Millie Onyfrychuk.

A Funeral Service will be held at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:00 am. Fr. Gary Sedgewick, St. Peter’s and St. Paul’s Church officiating.
Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
