Alice emigrated from Holland with Jochem and their two daughters back in 1952 to Lethbridge to start a new chapter, where they hoped to provide a better life for their family. Over the years Alice worked very hard at numerous jobs gaining experience along the way. She retired from the Campbell clinic in 1992 after many years of service for the clinic doctors whom she fondly remembered. Alice loved to travel back to Holland to visit family, she loved to watch and care for her grandchildren. One of the things Alice’s family and friends will remember is she enjoyed riding her bike around the city going here and there up until a grand age of 89. Alice lived a simple but fulfilling life.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
