Mary at her husband’s side farmed in the Coaldale area and retired in 1985. Mary took pleasure in culinary delights and welcomed anyone who came to her table. Mary took pleasure in farm life including her fantastic garden, but her greatest enjoyment and happiest times were the presence of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary also was proud to be a chartered member of the Coaldale CWL at St. Ambrose parish.

The family is extending its sincere thanks to the nurses, care attendants, support staff and management at St Michael’s Covenant Care as well as Good Samaritans. In her remaining time she received attentive care with love and dignity. All the staff of these facilities are very special people who are indispensable and are extremely appreciated by the family. A special thank you to all the doctors especially Dr. Tupper who worked hard at making Mary comfortable for nearly a decade.
