COHEN

GILL BENJAMIN COHEN, “The Captain” passed away peacefully in his home on November 1st, 2015. Predeceased by his wife Kristina and mother Gea. Survived by his daughter Allison, grand dog Lexi, his brother and sister-in-law Don and Trudi, sister and brother-in-law Chari and Alex, and his father Sam.

Gill will be fondly remembered for his unique sense of humour and quick wit. A highly intellectual person who still loved to get his hands dirty, he was also a tech guy at heart. Always drawn to the stars it only made sense that his career was in the sky. He was known for his generosity and his heart that always stood up for the underdog. Gill’s twisted humour will live on through everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

2 Condolences for “COHEN Gill”

  1. Tom Wilson says:

I will never forget Gil. He was such a “Nice guy”. I was very lucky to have known him. I always enjoyed his conversation and witty sense of humour, most recent was at a Jazz retirement party, where we enjoyed a brew together and many laughs. Gil was also a great pilot and aviator. Loved what he did, and did it very well.
    He will be missed.
    God speed Gil.

  2. A&D Wells says:

Gill was a great neighbor, he always had a joke or little quip to say when we would talk. He will be missed
