  1. Steve Brown says:

I just found out yesterday that Sharon had left us after Christmas.
I have been in shock and disbelief for the past 24 hours, tears permanently on my cheeks.

We all know what a fighter Sharon was. We know Sharon gave it all she had, but, in the end, she lost her battle against a force, so strong, it physically took her away from us.

    I Loved Sharon.
Many of us did, more than she would’ve realized.
Her smile and laugh could change anyone’s mood.

We remember her love of family, her need to take care of the less fortunate, and her willingness to give of herself, even when she didn’t have much to give.

That is what Sharon Morland’s legacy means to me.
I will remember her as a whole. complete, big-hearted person, who loved her children, her family and her friends…..and me.

R.I.P Sharon…..We miss you so much.

  2. Chris Lawlor says:

I met Sharon in 2014 while touring Italy. Together with a number of other travellers we formed a little group who had an enormously enjoyable 2 weeks seeing the sights of Rome, Amalfi Coast, Florence and Venice. Sharon’s quirky humour and generosity of spirit helped the group to bond so well. In fact together with Sharon we were intending to come from various parts of the World to meet up again this March in Hawaii. In trying to contact Sharon I came across her obituary here and have spent the last day in shock.
Last year I visited Canada briefly after having travelled from Australia via the USA. I spent a wonderful day being driven around the Rockies, again that generosity of spirit.
While I live on the other side of the world in Australia I will always have wonderful memories of my all too brief time spent with Sharon. She spoke so proudly of her son and daughter and I send all my best wishes to them with these belated condolences.
Dear Sharon ……Peace be with you
