LAUGHLIN

HAROLD REECE LAUGHLIN, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away in Lethbridge on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the age of 87. Harold is survived by his devoted wife, Marion, his daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Larry Langhofer and their children Tracey (Troy) Thompson and Shane (Telsa Riley) Langhofer, and his pride and joy, great grandchildren Taylor and Tanner Thompson and Nash Langhofer. He is also survived by his two sons, Gary of Vancouver and Hal of Lethbridge. Dad was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and moved to Lethbridge in 1950 to pursue his career in the auto body industry and worked for several local shops before retiring in 1992. He was a very hard worker and took pride in a job well done. After his retirement Dad and Mom enjoyed spending time with their great grandchildren and working in the yard. He always looked forward to spring when he and Mom could plant their garden and he was able to do this until just a few years ago. Harold was a good man with a wonderful sense of humor who lived his life on this earth well. He worked hard, provided for his family and knew how to enjoy what he had. He was a kind and generous man who loved to have the house full of people and he and Mom had an amazing 65 years together. He loved his family, was loved in return and even though we will miss him greatly we have many wonderful memories. Cremation has taken place and a family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
