She was raised on a farm west of Milk River, AB. Growing up Judy spent her time participating in many different activities including dancing, piano lessons, talent shows, horse back riding, bowling and enjoying the life of a country girl. After graduating from high school in Milk River, AB, Judy had numerous jobs including a telephone operator for AGT in Lethbridge, AB and working in Waterton, AB. On June 4, 1966 Judy married Leon Archibald in the Cardston, AB LDS Temple. Soon after they both attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Judy and Leon started a family with their only daughter Kelly, in 1970 and continued growing with 6 sons: Clark, Craig, Cole, Chris, Cory and Cary. Judy and Leon lived in Pincher Creek for a few years until moving to Fort Macleod in 1974 to begin farming operations with Leon where she spent the rest of her life. Her church jobs, community involvement and farm wife “duties” kept her on her toes along with bussing her children to activities from A to Z.
