FLETCHER
DORIS (OLER) FLETCHER passed away peacefully, Friday, February 19, 2016 at the age of 91.
Doris was born September 23, 1924, and raised in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan with her 4 siblings. Her Parents were John and Mable Moscrip. She leaves behind her children Ty (Debbie) Oler, Charlotte (Rodney) Luchansky, Blair (Cathy) Oler, Dwight (Wanda) Oler. As well as her 8 step children; Reta Peterson, Colleen Pilling, Carmon Greep, Darlene Twa, Linda Fletcher, Shirley Blogorodow, Sylvia Orstien, and Bonnie Fletcher. And her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Terry Oler, grandson Ryan Luchansky and step son Dalmon Oler.
Doris had many hobbies which included piano, sewing, knitting, crocheting, Barbie dolls and painting. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and faithfully served in many callings. Doris was a wonderful example of Christ-like service and love, and was always finding ways to help someone. Doris will be sadly missed by all her friends and family, but they will take solace in that she is having a wonderful reunion with those who have gone before. The family wishes to express special thanks to Debbie for the way she was always there for Mom seeing to her needs, and to Shirley, Kelsey and Colleen for their special kindness towards her.
Friends may meet the family on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, or prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, NORTHSIDE CHAPEL, 2223-6 A. Avenue North, Lethbridge.
Interment to follow in the Stirling Cemetery.
