Mr. Peter Neufeldt

1936 – 2016

On 27 February 2016, Peter J. Neufeldt passed away at the age of 79 years in Lethbridge, Alberta. He was born on 25 July 1936 in Coaldale. He had his own plumbing and heating business and he also owned rental properties in Coaldale.

Besides his first wife Ella (Ratzlaff) Neufeldt; Peter was predeceased by his parents Johann & Kornelia Neufeldt, and his siblings John, Jake, Isaac, Anne, Kornelia, Aganeta, Maria, and Marta.

Peter will be lovingly remembered by his second wife Edna (Kroeker) (Braun) Neufeldt; children Colin (Lynette) Neufeldt, Gerald (Kathy) Neufeldt, and J. Glen (Rachel) Neufeldt; grandchildren Jasmine (Justin) Clark, Donovan (Natalie) Neufeldt, Adam (Maleah) Neufeldt, Reuben Neufeldt, Alexandra Neufeldt, Sarah Neufeldt, Olivia Neufeldt, and Miranda Neufeldt; great-grandson Christopher Clark; siblings Nellie Elaine Vander Linden, Ab Neufeldt, and Mary Martens. Peter is also survived by his stepson Brian (Amber) Braun and their children Zachery and Hadley.

The family thanks the doctors, nurses, and health care workers who looked after Peter during his illness.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects between 7:00pm and 8:00pm on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 4 St. S., Lethbridge, Alberta.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00pm, on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the COALDALE CEMETERY, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm at the COALDALE MENNONITE BRETHREN CHURCH, 2114 18th St., Coaldale, with Pastor Gary Burke, officiating.
