HELEN RUTH NICHOLAS aged 59 years, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Cardston Auxiliary Hospital, Long Term, after many years of ill health.
Helen was born in 1956 in Southend on Sea, Essex, England. The Family came to Canada in 1968. She is predeceased by her father, Oliver Nicholas and mother, Irmgard Kosteed.
Helen is survived by her five brothers, Robert of England, Mark of B.C., Marlon of Cardston, Jonathan of Winnipeg, Jason (Anastaslia) of Airdrie; nephews & niece, Andrew, Michael (Ingrid), Benjamin, Dustin, Brian, Lily, Rebekah (Marcel); step-mother, Margaret Nicholas.
The family wishes to express their thanks to all the staff at the hospital in Long Term for all their loving kindness to Helen and also to Dr. Brian Low and Dr. Wilde for their care all these years in making Helen’s life as good as it was possible.
The Funeral service will be held at the Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

I’m so sorry to hear about Helen passing. My heart and prayers are with her family. I am so glad that she was my friend. She lived her life with courage, faith, love, and a strong sense of family and friendship. She will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest in Peace Helen.
