Gordon “Trent” Low
1949 – 2016
Our beloved brother, uncle and great uncle passed away Sunday surrounded by his family. He was taken from us only one week after his diagnosis of cancer.
Trent was predeceased by his parents Naida Schmalz and Dean Low as well as his step-parents, Joe Schmalz and Virginia Low and brothers Kevin and Gary Low. Left to mourn are Randy (Barb) Low, Bill (Jackie) Low, Eugene (Paulette) Low, Joe Godkin, Melody (Joe) Benoit and step brother Richard (Jean) Culler as well as numerous loved nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his very special friend and best bud of close to 40 years, Craig Tajiri.
Trent attended the Dorothy Gooder School and was taught by Mrs. Jensen, he made many lasting friendships there. He started his career at the Sunrise Ranch in Coaldale and then moved to ARC in Lethbridge where he worked in different areas until his retirement in 2015. He had caregivers from SACLA for many years and he enjoyed the independence their help allowed him.
His biggest love was for the Lethbridge Hurricanes. He was one of their biggest fans and wishes them well in their playoff endeavors.
The family would like to thank SACLA and ARC for their years of help.
