I am sorry for your loss. He is in a much better place looking down on you all smiling.
Herb and I were shipmates on HMCS Cayuga. We were what was called in the navy wingers. We arrived in korea just after Christmas 1953. I was Captain for a day on Christmas. I was the youngest sailor aboard. I was aloud to bring one of my mates in the Captains cabin for drinks and that of course was Herb.
Smooth sailing Herb I will be joining you soon.
