June 25, 1932 – June 28, 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce Betty Lou Medley passed away peacefully at the age of 84. Betty will be greatly missed by her children, Deborah Wescott, Janet Walker, Craig (Wendy), Sam (Cindy), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mom, Gramma, Great Gramma, no matter what you knew her as, she was a great role model. Hard working, independent and opinionated, she taught us all not to follow the pack but to be our own person and shaped us into who we are today. Betty was a good friend, great mom, Gramma and Great Gramma, and we are all better people for knowing her. We will miss you for the rest of our entire lives.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016, 1:00 at the Coutts Centre for Western Heritage, Nanton AB.

As well as being my cousin, I considered her a great friend. She always seemed to have time to listen to my various whining complaints, but we always had a good laugh as well. The coffee pot was never empty and it was usually accompanied by cookies and/or sandwiches or both. Betty was a great person and an awesome hostess.

Thinking of you all & extending my deepest regrets. She was a loyal friend for many years &’I will always treasure the good times we spent together and the many laughs we shared. May you all find peace in your hearts very soon. ❤️????
