2000 – 2016

Psalm 127:3 “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.”

Clinton Wesley Konynenbelt, beloved son of Jason & Susy, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at the age of 16 years.

Clinton was born May 2, 2000; a new brother for Ryan and Brendan. He was raised on the family farm and took pride in working next to his Dad, brothers, Grandpa and Uncle; all who will miss him greatly. He went to Immanuel Christian School but enjoyed socializing with his friends more than doing his schoolwork. He was actively involved in the Nobleford Christian Reformed Church in the Cadets and Youth programs, as well as the local Beef 4-H Club, Coulee Kickers Soccer and Christian Rec Hockey. Clinton enjoyed working outside and working with his hands. He loved life and always had a mischievous grin on his face and sparkle in his eyes. Clinton was planning on beginning the RAP program in Mechanics this Fall and to eventually go to Lethbridge College for Ag Mechanics, while continuing to work on the farm.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but we are all thankful with the assurance of salvation, that Clint is enjoying Heavens’ glory!

Thank you to the local paramedics, the neighbours, the boys who stayed by his side, and to STARS for all that you did. Thank you to Foothills ICU Doctors & Nurses for the excellent care and for treating him with dignity right to the end of his life. Thank you as well to the numerous family and friends who showed their love and support with hospital visits, messages and prayers. The Communion of the Saints was truly felt and appreciated.

Clinton is survived by his loving parents Jason & Susy; siblings Ryan (Willena), Brendan, Logan & Carmen; great grandmother Klaaske Procee; grandparents Bruce & Susie Konynenbelt; Uncles & Aunts Shawna (Paul) Payson, Stacey Konynenbelt, Keith (Anneke) Konynenbelt; grandparents Tony & Aly Heins; Uncles & Aunts Carol (Lyle) Ypma, Arlene (Don) Feenstra, Marion (Dennis) Indenbosch, Paula (Calvin) Konynenbelt, Mike (Rhonda) Heins; along with numerous cousins and extended family. Clinton is predeceased by his brother Nathan and cousin Andrew Indenbosch.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Immanuel Christian High School Trades Program for their mechanic’s program – a program that Clinton loved and planned to pursue further studies in. Donations can be made out to the Society For Christian Education in Southern Alberta, 802 – 6th Avenue North, Lethbridge, AB., T1H 0S1.

A Celebration of Clinton’s Life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the NOBLEFORD CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 522 Highway Ave., Nobleford, AB., with Pastor Jim Zondervan & Pastor Bryan Lanting, officiating.
