“Eagle Flying Woman”

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful daughter, mother, sister, niece and aunt, JASMINE LEE ROSE VIELLE. The Lord took our Princess on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 25 years. Jasmine was born on April 24, 1991 in Cardston, Alberta. She is survived by her husband, Paul and her daughter, Tiara.

Jasmine attended school at Standoff, Lavern, St. Mary’s and L.C.I., where she met and made many numerous friends. She excelled in various sports, such as soccer and track and field. One of her greatest achievements was participating in the Indigenous Games held in Vancouver. She made her Search on the Blood Reserve. Her theme was “Come Back to Me”, and worked in one of the Searches in Enoch, Alberta. This was a moment she greatly enjoyed.

Jazz met her love, Paul in 2005 and became a loving wife to him. In June of 2008 they were blessed with a beautiful daughter and that’s when Jazz focused her life on becoming a wonderful mom; spending quality time with her daughter by taking her to the park, swimming, teaching her to fix her hair, teaching her how to cook – everything she did was about her daughter and her husband! Together, Jazz and Paul attended a Life Management program during February and March of 2016. This was one of their many achievements together as a couple. Their future dreams were to travel, especially to Las Vegas, Disneyland, and having a house of their own.

She loved spending time with her sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews, always keeping her whole family together. She was employed at time with the Moses Lake Daycare, where she loved being around the kids. She prepared meals and activities for them. Her favorite hobbies included cleaning, reading, outdoor activities, and camping. She took a lot of pride in fixing up her hair and doing her makeup. She also enjoyed planning and throwing birthday parties.

Jasmine is survived by her husband, Paul Low Horn Jr.; daughter, Tiara; mother-in-law Noreen Red Crow; mother, Shelley Vielle; father, Tim (Charlene) Bird; sisters, Melissa (Waylon), Jiggs, Constance (Kyle), Brooke, Paige (Marcel), Willow (Tiara), Claycee (Levi) and Felisha; brothers, Braden, Jr. B., Mitch and Brad; aunts, Sharon (Lloyd), Tracy (Alvin) and Joan (Arnold); uncles, Jon (Bobbi Rose) Bird, Roland (Robbie) and Richard; nieces, Taliyah, Kylie, Janis, Mackenzie and Jaylee; nephews, Avery and Mason; paternal grandparents, (the late) Samuel Wolf Child and Diane Bird; maternal grandparents, (the late) Jeffrey Morning Owl and Wilma (Joey) Vielle. She is also survived by numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins; she came from a large extended family.

Jasmine was predeceased by Uncles Calvin Vielle, Jason Bird and Bernie Rabbit and many loved ones who have passed on.
