GEORGE

MAGDALENA GEORGE, beloved wife of Robert George of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit on September 27, 2016 at the age of 62 years.

Besides her loving husband, Maggie is survived by her children, Catherine (Kristopher) McLaughlin and their children, Joseph and Erin, all of Lethbridge, Laura George, of Calgary and Allison George, of Calgary; her brother, Istvan (Hilda) Gyenes and their children and grandchildren, and Istvan’s mother, Istvanne Gyenes; her parents-in-law, James and Mary George; her brother-in-law, David (Lorie) George and their children and grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Iboly Gyenes and her children, and sister-in-law Dorothy George.

Maggie was predeceased by her mother, Anna Hango; her father, Istvan Gyenes; her grandparents, Paul and Anna Hango; her special uncle, Peter Bendzsak, and her brother, Sandor Gyenes.

A Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, September 29, 2016 between 1:30 P.M. and 2:15 P.M. A Graveside Service will follow at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY – 1210 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, AB at 2:30 P.M. with Reverend James Gundren officiating.

A Memorial Service will be held at SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH – 1011 4 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 4:30 P.M. with Reverend James Gundren officiating.
