ELRA SCHOEN, beloved wife of the late Tony Schoen, formerly of Warner, Alberta, passed away at Fairmont Extendicare in Lethbridge, at the age of 90 years.
She is the loving mother of six children; Craig Schoen, Kelly Baceda, Cyril Schoen, Toni Ambrose, Diana Metzger and Arlene Olsen. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she deeply loved. Besides her family, her passion was painting and sculpting, always making the family home more beautiful. She loved to garden, making her yard in Warner very colourful, happy and inviting for anyone who came to visit. She always made everyone feel welcome with her smile, and warm heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 1:00 P.M.

I worked for Elra for a number of years throughout high school and university. I helped her around the house with housework and she was always very kind and taught me many things. I look back on our time together with fond memories and am very grateful to have had Elra in my life. Please accept my condolences, she will not be forgotten.
