We’re very sorry about the loss of Auntie Clara. She was a warm, loving auntie who always cared about what was happening in our lives. It was wonderful to visit with her at Jeffrey & Eileen’s wedding. We are unable to attend the service but will be thinking of the Shemanchuk and Chrapko families at this time.

  3. Mary Luchkow says:

Clara was my sister. I wish she had been living closer to me. Clara was a kind, gentle and giving person. She had a unique sense of humor that would make you laugh at even the saddest times. We had many happy times together. Although distance kept us apart, the times we had were very memorable. Thank you, Clara, for being you.

    Love
    Mary

  4. Ken Luchkow says:

Aunt Clara was my favorite aunt. What made her so special was that she always took the time to show an interest in my life as a boy, and later as an adult, in an era when kids were expected to be seen, but not heard. I’ll always remember her as kind and caring. I have great memories of her meticulously wrapped Christmas gifts adorned with her signature curly bows.

When Al and I played football together at the U of A, the announcers would often extend a warm hello to “Clara in Lethbridge who is sitting in her car on
her driveway listening to the game.” It was the place she received the best radio reception!

It was nice to visit with Aunt Clara and her family in April. As in the past, she asked about me and my family.

She holds a special place in our hearts.

    Ken Luchkow and family
