July 1, 1947- October 29th, 2016

Delores Marie Hubbard (Englehart) of Lethbridge, Alberta passed away suddenly on October 29th, 2016 at the age of 69. Delores is survived by her loving husband Harry Hubbard and her two daughters and sons-in-law Carey Ann Thompson (Daryl) of Abilene, Texas and Deborah Rivet (Andrew) of Cardiff, Alberta. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Brendan Thompson, Madison Thompson, Jordana Rivet, and Jaxson Rivet.

Delores was a faithful servant of Christ. She loved the lord “Jesus” with all her heart, mind, soul and strength. She loved her neighbor as herself and those that she hardly knew. She loved music and painting and loved spending time with her many friends and cherished the times spent with her family. She was a loving friend to many people, a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, mother and “Nana” and a faithful and loving wife for 49yrs. Her love will continue to influence the lives that she has touched. Her hope was for all people to know Jesus personally and she demonstrated that in her own walk of faith.

Her favourite scripture was PSALM 139:13-17;

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!”

A Celebration of Delores’s life will be held Wednesday, November 2 at The Miz City Church, 502 13 St. N., Lethbridge, Alberta. Ceremony to take place at 11:00am and a light lunch to follow. We ask people to come and share the many blessings Delores brought into their lives. Delores had a love for the unfortunate in the world. You can make a donation to someone in need in her name and they will be blessed.

One Condolence for “HUBBARD, Delores”

  1. Al Fritz says:

    Harry, my prayer for you is that you would feel the loving comfort of the arms of Jesus engulf you. That he would overwhelm you with His presence. That you would feel Him, and taste Him, and hear Him like on that first day that He made Himself known to you.

    “And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.”
