ROSETTA SCOUT-CHIEF MOON “Sai’kamo’saakii” (Steals From Across), beloved wife of Jordan Chief Moon Sr., passed away on October 24, 2016 at the age of 67 years. She was born on October 14, 1949 at the Blood Indian Hospital on the Blood Reserve to the late Ben and Sarah (Stabs Down/Blue Wings) Scout.

Rosetta is survived by the love of her life, Jordan Chief Moon Sr. Together they spent 52 years of unconditional love. She is also survived by her loving children, Lenora, Kim (Guy), Kristian (Ashley), Arlene, Chantal, Nitasha (Nick), Tyne (Cyrus); Goddaughter Justine (Cletus Big Throat); adopted children, Cindy Day Rider and Lorna Bennett; grandchildren, Stormee, Thorne (Kassondra), Cash, Tuff, Taylor (Joey), Dakota, Benji (Kesha), Kristen (Brandon), Kayla, Kristian Jr., TJ, Savannah, Jordan-Melody, Kaiden, Danika, Montana, Bethany, Simone, Danny, Tyreese, Roan; great grandchildren, JT, Nate, Nikesha, Chalaine, Doyle, Devin, Heavenly, Kendrick, Kendra, Serenity, Ponnaasii and Ariyah; brothers, Ken (Theresa) Scout, Ben Jr.(Audrey) Scout, Lavern (Anne) Scout, Charlie; sister, Rose Ann(Justin Yellow Horn); brothers-in-law, John Chief Moon Sr., Ed (Elaine) Chief Moon, Daniel (Priscilla) Chief Moon, Keith (Karen) Chief Moon; sisters-in-law, Virginia (Tony) Csizmadia, Myrna Chief Moon, Bertha Chief Moon and Alma Spear Chief-Scout.

Rosetta was predeceased by her parents, Ben Sr. and Sarah Scout; two children, Melody Jolane and Simon Donovan; brother, Martin Scout; sisters, Victoria (Ronnie), Freda, Catherine.

The Family Service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Tuesday, November 1st, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. followed by the Wake Service at the Senator Gladstone Hall, Blood Reserve from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Blood Reserve on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Pioneer Cemetery. Feast to follow at Senator Gladstone Hall.
