KATHERINE DIETZEN 1926 – 2016
KATHERINE DIETZEN passed away in Lethbridge on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the age of 90 years. Mom is lovingly remembered by her son and six daughters: Harold (Lorraine) Moodie, Sheila Marek, Darlene (Bill) Aldous, Kathy (Bill) Conners, Colleen (John) Bains, Gail Roth, and Gwen Dietzen; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Mom always thought of others before herself, but her children and grandchildren were always the most important part of her life. She was the glue that held us together. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, 2606-16 Avenue South, Lethbridge. Interment to follow in the Mountain View Cemetery, Lethbridge. Due to family allergies to fragrances, please refrain from wearing any perfumes or scented toiletries to the funeral service. The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Unit, especially Celeste, Adam and Jennifer. A special thank-you to Dr. Shukoor, Dr. Smutts, Danielle and Allison, and to Linda at Thriftway Drugstore.
