EUGENE CHMELYK, beloved husband of Tilly Chmelyk, of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre – Palliative Care Unit on Monday, November 21st, 2016 at the age of 66 years.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by Germaine Collett of Brooks, Jaimy (Nathan) Sawatzky of Langley, B.C. , Kody Chmelyk of Wetaskawin, Carrie Lortie of Brooks, James (Sylvia) Stroeve of Lethbridge, Dennis (Tracey) Stroeve of Lethbridge and Kathy (Jeff) Skretting of Lethbridge. Eugene is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one brother Rudy Chmelyk.
He was predeceased by his parents Yakym & Nancy.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 from 12:00 – 12:45 P.M. A Graveside Service will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will be held at the MIZ CITY CHURCH – 502 13th Street South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Daniel Zapoula officiating.
