Mason Eli Kons
1977 – 2016
We are truly saddened to announce that Mason Kons passed away tragically in Lethbridge, on November 19, 2016 at the age of 39 years.
Mason was often known as the gentle giant. His kind eyes were like no other. Mason suffered with mental illness every day, yet he remained compassionate, kind, and strong.
Masons love for the arts showed through his poetry and drawings. His love for animals was profound.
He is survived by his mother and best friend Peggy Ann Kons, his brother Michael John Kons (Zobi Kons), his beautiful niece Jenna Leigh Kons and his grandmother Vera Frey. Also, left to mourn are numerous family members on both the Kons and Reimer side.
Mason was predeceased by his father Ron Kons, grandmother Phylis Kons, and cousin Aaron Thacker; as well as Christopher John Joseph Reimer.
Mason, you will be truly missed.
