Robert (Bob) George Thomson
Jan 5th, 1952-Jan 31st, 2017
We are saddened by the loss of Bob, father to Cody Thomson and Casey Thomson (Amanda). Others who are left to mourn are the mother of Bob’s children Heather Thompson, his brothers Gary Thomson (Mary Ann), Rick Thomson (Mary Kaye), Don Thomson (Pearl), and his sisters Jeanie Thomson, Maureen Webb (Roger), and Laureen Zaugg (Bob). Those who have predeceased Bob are his eldest brother Roy Thomson (Beverly) and parents Joyce and Mervin Thomson.
Bob was a gifted Mechanic well known for his skills throughout Southern Alberta. His sense of humour, his talent for telling a great story, and the loyalty and compassion that came naturally brought him many good friends. He would always show appreciation for the kindnesses shown to him by others. Bob will be missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Raymond Hospital Nursing Staff for their exceptional caregiving and support.
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday February 3, 2017 from 7:00-8:00pm at SALMON AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 433 Stubb Ross Road South, Lethbridge (entrance to the airport).
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday February 4th, 2017 at 11:00am, at the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS, MAGRATH STAKE CENTRE, 21 East 1 Ave S, Magrath, followed by the interment in the Magrath cemetery.
