It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Kathleen (Kathy) Anne Forster nee Kosolofski, loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife and friend.

Kathy was born in Prelate, SK to Michael and Anne Kosolofski on March-12-1949. Kathy moved to Lethbridge, AB where she studied nursing and met her first husband Donald Forster. Kathy later settled with her young family in Red Deer, AB where she remained until her passing.

Kathy was predeceased by her parents Michael and Anne and her partner of 20 years, Berne Mills. Kathy is lovingly remembered by her 2 children and their families: daughter Kristen (Nathan) Whitling and their children Josh, Cassie, Lauren and Ethan; and son Nathan (Asteid) Forster and their children Nneka, Nya and Amari.

Kathy is also lovingly remembered by her siblings Stan (Marcia) Kosolofski and Annette (John) Jangula and their families as well as her extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws.

Kathy was very family oriented always with a ready smile and a warm embrace. Kathy enjoyed her grandchildren, reading, puzzles, travelling and experiencing new cultures and cuisines. Although Kathy was retired from nursing she cherished being of service and remained very civic minded, volunteering her time with many local charities.
