James Gray
1933 – 2017
Mr. James Gray passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the age of 83 years.
Jim was a loving, caring, kind and proud man with a heart of gold. He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa.
Jim farmed most of his life up until 1999 with his family. He was a former mayor of Carmangay, a committed school bus driver for 15 years and a driver for Enterprise Rentals until he retired. He enjoyed precious time with his family, Coffee Row, bushing & curling (Jim was a great curler).
Jim is survived by his wife Rose, children Denise (Wayne), Dwight (Sheila), Darrell (Brenda) and Debra (Wayne), grandchildren Chris (Sarah), Erin (Jason), Lexi (Craig), Courtney and Tyler, great grandchildren Kai, Maddox and McKenna, sister Margaret ‘Peg’, brother Robert (Jenny), sister-in-law Marlene, mother-in-law Lydia as well as numerous nieces & nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Helen, parents Bertha & Bill and brother-in-law Lawrence.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held at from 7:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 – 4 Avenue South, Lethbridge
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610-4 St. S., Lethbridge, AB.
Interment will take place in the Mountain View Cemetery following the service.
