HAZEL MARGARET PETRUNIA ATWOOD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the age of 92 years. Hazel was predeceased by her husband A.C. Atwood on December 13, 2000, and by her parents Joseph and Ilona Petrunia, five brothers and four sisters. Hazel is survived by her daughter Dawn (Wayne) Clark and their sons Rob and Scott. Hazel loved the company of her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Her family was everything to her – she was the true measure of Unconditional Love. She is also survived by her step-children Warner (Ann), Cam (Loral), Karen (Barry) Lee and their children. She was devoted to her Church and served in many callings and always served with love and compassion. Thank-you to her special people at Good Samaritans in Magrath. You all made such a difference in her life. She loved you and appreciated your love and tender care. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at CHRISTENSEN SALMON GENERATIONS FUNERAL HOME, 703-13 Street North, Lethbridge. Friends may meet the family prior to the service from 12:00 to 12:50 p.m. Interment to follow in the Temple Hill Cemetery, Raymond.
