BRENDA BURKE, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of the late Fred Burke, passed away at the St. Therese Villa, on Monday, May 15th, 2017 at the age of 87 years.

Brenda is survived by her son Pat (Shirley Tedder) Burke, as well as Brenda’s grandchildren Crystal (Ronald) Marshall and their children Tabatha, Charlie, and Hunter, Melissa (Joël) Larochelle and their children Trevor, Charlie, Jordan and Angela. Brenda is also survived by her brother Don Oates as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her loving husband Fred, Brenda was predeceased by her son Terry and daughter Linda.

When Brenda was healthy she loved knitting, going for walks (as a member of the Lethbridge Walking Club), travelling and had a great love for animals. In Brenda’s spare time she also loved to sit in her rocker chair and read. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all those whose lives were touched by hers.

A Graveside Service will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY – 1210 Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. Those who wish to attend may meet at the Eternal Flame (Front Gates) of the cemetery.
