MARSHALL

After a brave battle with pancreatic cancer, BRIAN MARSHALL passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 with his family by his side.

He was predeceased by his parents Jack & Gladys Marshall.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Lise, daughter Jennifer (Matt), grandchildren Ashley & Matthew; brothers Dick (Jo-Anne), Wayne (Linda) and Barry (Diane); sisters Sheila, Carol and Brenda (Don). Also left to mourn the loss of their Uncle Brian are numerous nieces and nephews, all who have fond memories of their time with him.

Last but certainly not least, he is very much missed by his beloved border collie, Lucy, who was never far from his side.

Brian will be remembered as not only a caring husband, father, and Poppy but as a true cowboy with a deep and passionate love of horses and an outstanding knowledge of equine pedigree and lineage. He was fortunate to build a career around that passion and as a result, developed long- lasting friendships along the way.

A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held at a later date.

Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish to honour Brian, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society – #200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or at www.cancer.ca/donate, or to the Lethbridge Association for Community Living – 527 6 Street South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 2E1 or at www.lacl.ca/donate.

  3. Angela Bucklaschuk says:

Brian touched my heart in many ways, he was a great man. He really looked out for me and wanted to see me succeed. I started Saddle It Up with Dacey. Brian always came to the shop and we could talk for hours. He was such a smart man, always learned something new every conversation. I will miss him dearly, I was very sad to just hear of his passing. I wish I had been back in Lethbridge and got to visit with him one more time. But I will never forget him and his voice. And indeed he was a true cowboy!
