Violet “Vi” Martha Segouin
1933 – 2017
Mrs. Violet “Vi” Martha Segouin of Coaldale, beloved wife of the late Mr. Joseph Raymond Segouin, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the age of 84 years. Violet was born in Tara, Ontario on March 30, 1933. She worked for the Federal Government for 15 years. Vi loved playing bingo and cribbage. She was a whiz at playing cribbage and she not only won the last two tournaments she played but she won many awards. She was a lifetime member at the Nordbridge Senior Center and also belonged to the Legion. Vi is survived by her two sons Armand and Tony Segouin; grandchildren Anthony Lee Segouin, Armand Paul Segouin, Frank Joseph Segouin, Beverley Jessica Segouin, Theresa Peters, Jeff Segouin and Mera; sisters Josie, Jackie and Theresa; brother Joseph as well as numerous great-granchildren, nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her loving husband Joseph Raymond Segouin, Violet was predeceased by her parents; sister Sally and grandchild Mary-Lynn. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 9:00am-10:00am on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL. A Celebration of Vi’s Life will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL 610 4 Street S., Lethbridge, Alberta with Pastor Dick Deweert officiating. Inurnment to follow at the later date in Lebret, Saskatchewan.
