EDWIN FIEDLER, of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Judy Fiedler, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Palliative Care Unit, on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the age of 79 years.
Besides his loving wife Judy Fiedler (nee Span) of 53 years, Edwin is the loving father of Tony (Michelle) Fiedler and Brad (Nichole) Fiedler; affectionately known as Papa aka Bud to his grandchildren Cole, Wyatt, Hailey, Hayden and Hunter. Edwin was also a dear brother to Hugo (Goldie) Fiedler and Gita (Gordie) Layton. He will also be dearly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Edwin was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Natalie Fiedler, mother and father-in-law George and Sadie Span.
Edwin had a great love for Arabian horses, hunting and llamas.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Reception will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., with a family eulogy being presented at 7:00 P.M.
