PASSEY
CAROLE MAE HEGGIE PASSEY passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 82 years of age. She was born on December 7, 1934 in Raymond, Alberta to Albert and Marguerite Heggie.. She married her sweetheart Glen Squire Passey in 1959 and lived the rest of her life in Magrath raising three children and helped to raise ten grandchildren whom she adored. Carole loved to cook and delicious meals were enjoyed by many. She was a cook at the Diamond Willow Lodge and the Raymond Hospital. She loved music and enjoyed singing and sang for many years with the Sweet Adeline’s. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints fulfilling many callings throughout the years. The last ten years of her life were spent dealing with Alzheimer Disease. She endured this difficult journey well, surrounded by family, friends, and the good people of the Good Samaritan Society, who truly loved her and cared for her with great tenderness and kindness. Carole is survived by her children Gary, Wayne, and Leanne (Bruce) Sabey, her grandchildren Russell, Danielle, Brandy, Perry, Kayla, Jessica, Colten, Katelyn, Jordyn, and Faran, 7 great grandchildren, her brothers, Jim (LaBeana) Heggie, Don ( Roslynn) Heggie, brother-in-law Ron Passey She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and a granddaughter Ashley.A Graveside Service was held on Monday October 2, 2017 in the Magrath Cemetery.
