It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, father, brother, uncle and cousin LEON LANARK HEALY at the Cardston Health Centre on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at the age of 46 years.

Leon is survived by his wife, Pam, children, Jace, Hayden, Torin, Deekon, Sonny, Cooper, Braden, Rowdy, and Mason, mother, Teresa K and father, Stuart (Karen) Healy, sisters, Maria, Carson, Aiyisha and Sherisa, brothers, Jordy, Dean and John, In-laws, Keith and Rita Red Crow, nephews, Riley and Nicholas, grandfather, Clarence McHugh Jr. and numerous and close extended family members (aunts, uncles and cousins).

Leon was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Jean Healy, maternal grandparents, John and Christine Tallow, aunt, Valerie Hind Bull, uncle, Rennie Tallow and nephews, Christian Hind Bull and Samuel Olsen, adopted parents, Dave and Shirley Healy and brothers-in-law, Keith Jr. and Wilburt (Hobo) Day Chief. Cousins, Lynel Tail Feathers and Dickie Wells.

Leon (Horn) was born on April 27, 1971 at the Cardston Municipal Hospital and raised on the Blood Reserve. Leon attended kindergarten, elementary, junior (Gr. 7&8) and senior high school in Cardston and grade 9 at Kainai High school. He served as the sports representative on behalf of his peers at Cardston Junior High. He continued his post-secondary education at Lethbridge Community College in the Multi-Media Program.

For the past 28 years, Leon was a loving and devoted father and dedicated his life to raising his special son, Jace and other sons, Hayden, Deekon, Torin, Rowdy, Braden, Cooper and Mason and daughter, Sonny.

The family would like to acknowledge the Cardston Handicap Association. The staff at Cardston Health Center. A special thank you to his Auntie’s Pet and Lambie Fox for the never ending love and support.

The Family Service will be at Legacy Funeral Home, Cardston on Friday, Oct. 6th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. followed by the Wake Service at the Moses Lake Community Hall from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Blood Reserve on Saturday, Oct. 7th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the One Spot Cemetery.
