TRUDY MARYANN FELLGER (nee Howe), beloved wife of Alfred Fellger of 60 years, passed away surrounded by her family at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the age of 78 years.
Trudy was born on July 2, 1939 in East Germany. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1955 and lived on a farm near Diamond City before moving to Lethbridge to raise her family with Alfred.
Besides her husband, Alfred, Trudy is survived by her children: Renee (Dave) Dueck, Delaine (Ray) Taylor, Sharon (James) Obrigewitch and Brian (Marcie) Fellger; grandchildren Jordan (Nina), Jerrid, Taylor, Lindsay (Bryan), Jacob, Cassidy, Jenna, Colby, and Evan; and great-grandchildren Aria and Lucy. Trudy is also survived by her siblings Harry (Louisa) Howe, Hilde Kutzner, Willi (Diane) Howe, and Christel (Erik) Pedersen.
She was predeceased by her parents Wilhelm and Lucy Howe.
A Celebration of Trudy’s Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Erin Phillips officiating. Trudy will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery. After the Interment, a time of fellowship and refreshments will be held at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
